Chrome Ring Around Speedo??!
Hi, I'm looking at replacing the chrome ring around my speedo as mine has pitted and going a bit rusty. Does anyone know if you can get this part separate or does it have to be part of the whole speedo?
Many thanks
Luke

The bezel is a seperate piece, so it should be available - somewhere.

Re: Chrome Ring Around Speedo??!
Yeah, although that's true. I don't wanna spend £40 or £50 on something i don't need just for the ring around it.
Thanks though.
It seems no one sells this replacement part!

You could inquire about the cost of having your's re-chromed.

Re: Chrome Ring Around Speedo??!
The speedo chrome will get pitted over time due to age. Just keep an eye out at autojumbles, rallies etc for a speedo in better condition than the one you have. I had to replace my speedo recently as it had stopped working and I got a good secondhand one for £10 with a chrome ring that was better than the original one (still had some pitting though). Unless you're wanting to get your car to 'concours' standard though I wouldn't worry too much about it. A little bit of pitting and rusting all adds to the character
