INSTALL A TACHOMETER

Post by MIGUEL »

I have a doubt???
Is the same to conect the tachometer to the "W" of de alternator or to the "-"(negative) of the coil?

Thank you & happy new year to everybody

Certainly don't put it anywhere near the alternator! Personally - I don't see the point of, or need for a tachometer...........

Normally the wires go on either terminal of the coil. The correct wiring depends on the make of tacho.

You need to know which colour wire goes to which side of the coil. Search the internet for instructions for your tacho.
