the brake servo on primrose needs relocating, it used to be on the engine bay floor, passenger side above the chassis rail, but since i put a 3 branch exhaust on, it wouldnt fir where it was, so i shifted it up onto the inner wing on the passenger side, but it now vibrates off the air filter on the carb.
its been annoying me for many months now, so i have decided to relocate it to somewhere more suitable,

any suggestions?

thats where mine was, but the exhaust pipe gets in the way

Can you not mount it slightly higher up?

I have just been out to the garage and had a look and I think it could also be moved slightly more forward so that the outlet pipe runs to the right of the rad as seen from the front of the car-see second photo below. I wouldn't put it on the bulkhead but I did see a pic on here on something like that. It was also discussed here and the suggestion was close to the starting motor:

Relocate it on to ebay........... Why do you want a servo ?? Certainly if you do decide to keep it - it should be mounted as low down as possible - and 'nose-up' attitude.

not too sure why on earth i need a servo, my wolseleys didnt have one and they braked just as well as anything, but my dad (in all his wisdom) says it needs a servo for modern day traffic (rubbish is my answer),
it was down by on the chassis rail, but i had to move it, i could back down there, but as close up the the radiator as possible.

Does a servo make the brakes any better or does it just mean that you don't have to stamp so hard on the pedal?

just means it lightens the load on the pedal, it dosent really make the brakes any better, just means you dont have to stamp as hard on the thing

not got a pic on me at the mo, but mine is down on the opposite side of the engine to Declans. It neatly nestles down by the starter motor, bolted to the 'tie plate'. it fits well, it's on the right side for the tidiest brake pipes, and you can still get the starter out if needs be. only downside is the servo hose, which i've posted down the 'box section' under the battery.

there is an LCB manifold on there now so that big empty space on the right of the engine bay is now full of exhaust!

thats the problem i am having, the exhaust is in the way. i cannot pop it on the other side as the washer bottle is there.

my gut instinct this morning on my drive into work was to rip out the 3 branch exhaust, reinstate the original drinking straw bore exhaust and move the servo back to where it where it was. but i do like my lovely exhaust and the option for a HIF38 carb (when i get it to work)

Just dump the servo.

As no head on in the pic you cant tell but will clear a 3 branch manifold there

Like BMC says...I can't imagine why you'd need a servo for drums. If you've got discs on then sure, but drums are easy enough to engage just with foot pressure. Of course, having a useless servo adds weight -- which will increase your stopping distance! So it makes the braking worse! I'd take it off. If you have plans to someday fit discs, you might keep it, but otherwise sell it to the highest bidder.
