Apart from the low light minors did they all have the same bonnet and front wings, I'm looking at a 1956 splitscreen that needs new wings and a bonnet.

left is my 67 saloon and right is my dads 53 split screen.

you can see the different positions of the sidelights. front wings like those are hard to come by, tho available in fibreglass i think, or you can modify later style ones if you're feeling brave.

with bonnets, they had a different shape at the back edge along the scuttle. late ones are curved like the curved screen, early ones are straight with a kink in like the split screen.

you'll have to hunt for one of those bonnets, someone on here may have one, seen them on ebay now and then but they're harder to come by.

If its a '56 it should have a Minor 1000 style slatted grill so the only difference with the wings will be that the side light hole is smaller for the different light. Easy enough to weld a piece in to reshape the hole. (Either a fillet top and bottom, or my favorite completley weld the hole up and repunch a smaller round hole, or whatever suits you).
Bonnet, yes you'll need to find a Series 2 type with the V shape across the back edge. Not really practical to convert a later one.

1948 - 51 Series MM lowlight short bonnet
1952 - 56 Series MM/11 highlight long bonnet
1956 - 71 M1000 bonnet
Series MM/11 rear wings have a high wheel arch. Normally M1000 rear wings are reprofiled.
