The story so far and a big thank you!

Hello all,
I’m a relative newbie to this forum and minor ownership and I thought I would share our story so far.
It was Mandy’s (my girlfriend) 30th birthday back in November and as she has wanted a Morris since before passing her driving test I though what better way to celebrate the occasion (it was either a Morris or an engagement ring so easy decision really
)
So back in early September I started looking and reading up about little minors. This is where I would like to say a BIG thank you to all the people who have posted questions on here but more so to those who have taken the time to answer the questions. I have yet to come up with a question that hasn’t already been answered, so thank you all.
Anyway, I final found and (after much deliberation) chose a pretty 1969 snowberry white 2 door saloon named Betty. Driving her for the first time was a little nerve racking but fantastic and by the time I got her home I was smitten. I kept Betty at my brothers till Mandy’s birthday so as not to spoil the surprise for her.
3 weeks later, after a wash and wax and on a cold and foggy birthday morning Mandy finally met Betty. … … …
