Spark plugs

Having had primrose thrust back into the limelight and daily use, as well as the impending naff winter, i have decided to treat primrose to a shinny new set of spark plugs, as the current ones are a mixture of between 5 and 40 years old and horrible nkg variety.
What brand or variety would be good for long life and quality?

I have had no trouble with NGKs, maybe you are fitting the wrong temperature plugs. Alternatively Champion N9Y (RN9YCC)? are the standard A Series plug.

No problem with NGKs from my point of view either. Apart from a couple of people on here they are generally well regarded.
I use NGK BCP6ES - although BP6ES are useable too.

i tried looking for champion, but gave up (grantham is a bit of a backwater) so i went to parkers motorfactors and got some NKG ones, so primrose is working like a dream (well sort of, see
http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=36379 for todays problem)

If so, that that makes at least two of us. If you have a problem, get rid of NGK and fit Champion.

Maybe my dishwasher just needs new Champion spark plugs ??
I'm sure there is absolutely nothing wrong with NGK plugs....... but I have suffered an experience where they didn't work in a mates MGB engine and it cost me a few hours of trouble shooting! Perhaps they were 'resistor' plugs and not compatible with his electronic ignition (although I did try a normal dizzy and they didn't work with that either!) or with his 'resistor' HT leads and caps - who knows..... It started right away with an old set of Champs from my bag! And since Champion gave me some free plugs many years ago -and stickers to put on my racer - i've been faithful to them ever since and never had the slightest difficulty.

I detect a conflit of interests, carrying Champion advertising hardly makes you impartial

I never suggested or implied that I am in any way impartial! Quite the opposite! CHAMPION PLUGS are the BEST!!
