I assume the car has non-standard brakes - since Minors never had discs/calipers. Some say they can be pushed out with compressed air - but I have always had to use my grease gun which just happens to have the correct 3/8" UNF thread on the end! Be sure to clean out ALL the grease before rebuilding. If the pistons are less than pristine it's well worth fitting stainless ones.

I'v always used compressed air but wrap a cloth around the caliper first as old break fluid in the eyes ain't good :( . if its a twin piston unit clamp one (gently)with grips, remove and referb then do the reverse for the second piston :D use a flat bar or file to apply even pressure across the piston when you push it back in.
