Grill Surround

The grill surround on my 1970 saloon is badly pitted. Can anyone tell me whether the new alloy type looks as good as the original and is it a good fit?
As an option, what is the likely cost of having mine rechromed?

They are all out of stock at the moment. Mike from Birmingham Morris Minor Centre rang me October 12th and he said they hope to have them in 3 weeks. They are being produced abroad (didn't say where) and they are trying to airfreight them in. He will ring me back when they arrive. Haven't heard anything since.

Update:
I received an email from ESM this morning stating that they have received a very limited stock on 15th Feb with further stocks coming in April (They didn't say which April!)
At least I got one.

When I ordered it yesterday it was £34.95 les VAT.
They seem to be sold out already acc. website!
I hope I'm not getting the prototype!
