About to start my daughters 68 OEW traveller, needs front wings, welding at floor corners at front and inner wing joints. Have all the kit now but not sure of best way to work on it. I woull like to block it up quite high, say 18" for good access. what's the best way of doing that, I don't want to roll it over!

Thanks, John

On 4 large sturdy axle stands.
I'd aim for more than 18 inches, my arm, fingers folded is 17 inches and that's not holding a tool.

You may want to make a hasty exit from under there when a drop of red hot metal drops in your ear, nose or sleeve.

I rolled my traveller onto it's side. There is a dvd advertised on ebay showing the basics of rolling and welding but tthe rolling is fairly easy with enough help, 4 minimum. Once on it's side you will be able to see clearly what is needed and where.
