Hi can anyone please advise
We are doing a complete repaint of a traveller using 2k needlessly to say we are taking all the safety precautions.
Most of it was done durning the summer months using the Max Meyer 8000 hardners Extra Rapid under 25 degrees C
and these all are fine.
Since the weather and season has changed we forgot to change to a different hardner say 9000 repairs below 25 degrees C
(is this correct) now we have some panels that need cleaning as we have some dirt, moisture or hardners in the panel work.

What Pastes do we need for the process of cleaning and polishing the panels that have a bit of orange peel and dirt splatters.
We have done a wet sand with 2000 and removed the dirt and looking for the correct paste to polish for 1 removing dirt and 2 orange peel .
also we need to buy a polisher for the job, can anyone recommend something suitable for a one off. we are hoping to finish polish the car whenever it is all put back together.

It's a while since you posted your request for help. If you still need help perhaps this will go some way to help you to rectify the your paint faults.
If you have used 2 pack and used more than 2 coats of laquer then this will work to remove blooming, dirt and orange peel.
Use a minimum 1200 W&D paper with fairy liquid applied to the paper. Keep the paper and work area wet and rub lightly to avoid breaking the laquer.
Use a rubber block to remove the water from the work area at frequent times to see if the offending dirt/peel has gone.
There is a fine line between "to much rubbing down" and not enough. When your happy with the romval of the dirt/peel then stop and dry the area. Polishing will be best achieved with the use of an electric polisher (these can be hired) use the polisher and G3 paste by Ferecla, which l have found to be cheaper on E-bay and a tube will do a small car once. Ferecla also make a finishing compound but l find a good wax and elbow grease works well. If you have a lambs wool mop head polisher then it removes the need for elbow grease.
WARNING. The polisher can easily bite through the paint, this will require a repaint of that area. Practise on something first if you can and you have not used one before. You can get variable speed polisher, which are better for newbies.
