teardrop rear brake light wiring

hi can anyone tell me how to wire teardrops lights up all i have is a green wire and a black and i just want them as a side light/brake light as i have seperate indicators

You need 3 wires. Black is earth, Green + purple is the brake lights and the sidelights should be red. You lamp holder will also need to be the twin fillament type as the same bulb will do both brake and side lights......

They are obviously single filament only........ and in my view - ghastly! :roll: But each to their own.........

i have a twin fillament bulbs in them and have wired the green to the green and purple and the black to the red and they are working fine
