Manifold backplates.

Post by RobThomas »

I've just had a batch of them made up and CNC laser cut. Better finish than the last lot and in 10mm steel plate.
If anyone is after making their own manifolds, I might have at least one spare. £18 plus p&p. 40 DCOE plates also available and I'm planning to get mounting plates for H1, H2 and HS2 made up.

I'll take a pic of the new ones later. They have smaller exhaust ports than the one in the picture below so that the tubes can be butt welded rather than slipped inside the hole, thus making it much closer in dimensions to the original manifold holes. The bolt holes are also marked but undrilled to allow for any different sizes of bolt in use.[frame]Image[/frame]

As suggested by Kevin, I should add that they cost me £18 to get them cut, so there isn't any profit. :D
