Hi Guys,

Which type of heater valve is needed for the round Smiths heater fitted to earlier cars?

Either will work. For originality you need the screw tap that you operate after opening the bonnet, for modern convenience you can fit the cable operated type that can be controlled from inside the car - you would need the cable and mounting bracket as well.
