Morris 2 litre Twin Cam Dyno Results

Dear all,
finally got my Morris properly tuned this year by a decent rolling road and engineer. Just thought I'd share the results, it was done back in the summer and I've been enjoying it too much to post before.
Peak power is 167.6 BHP at 7,500 rpm. Peak torque is 142.7 lb/ft at 5000 rpm. More important to me is it reaches 120 lb/ft torque at 3,750 rpm and stays above that till practically 7,250 rpm giving a lovely long flat torque curve.
Power is not quite as good as it should be because of my exhaust set up, but I like it as it is and don't want to change it.
Regards,
Wal

That's nice Heathy12, good steep curve. Take off must be great fun.
The drop off looks a bit harsh though.
Like the force fed, got the supercharger version for mine. Just trying to find the time.....

Faceplant,
it's a full Guy Croft engine, information below. It is expensive but you get what you pay for and the engine delivers the results. I wouldn't bother taking my twin cam to anyone else.

Wal

I have a guy croft head also, he did a full rebuild and its setup with twin dellorto 40's, and custom 2' stainless exhaust. though the bottom end is standard and the previous owner did the final tune. it goes well, lots of low end torque and a fabulos rasp when the clutch is engaged to change gear! puts a smile on my face every time
Carb setup:
34 chokes
162 mains
62 idles
7772.11
210 airs
38 pumps
I'm going to get it tuned in a couple of months - just completed a jlh dampner kit front and rear whic cost a few quid!
i spoke to a tuner in essex, sounded like he knew what he was doing and was around £100, unfortunately Guy Croft is too far away!
