Morris Minor Owners Club

I've been wondering this one for a while how long have you all had your mogys and in that time what have you done to them ? I think my dad does better than most people but I wouldn't;t be surprised if I'm wrong

he's had his '53 convertible since he was 21 so that's 33 years during that time hes made it into a convertible and now hes working on fitting some low light wings and front panel, not one for purists.

Our Morris Van has been in the family since 1980 and was my grandads them my mums and now my brother drives it, this has had rear windows put in to aide visibility.

Finally our Traveller has been with us for 18 years and during that time its been fitted with a 1275 Ital engine and overdrive.

So has anyone had one longer? even if you haven't I think it would interesting to see how long people keep morris minors.

A family friend, who is a member but rarely uses the net, has owned his Morris Minor Traveller from new and is a 1968 reg (from memory) making it 42 years ownership and stll in daily use. We've only had our 1965 convertible for 4.5 years, regards, John

Hi, had mine since 1982, its seen a few changes over the years, added a few pics[frame][/frame][frame][/frame][frame][/frame]

Ive had the blue one since I was 15, so thats 19 years now........ Its in every day use and had a major restoration about 10years ago. Seveal others have been purchased and restored over the years, black ones been in the famliy since 1997, traveller about 8 years, green one about 6 years and the lowlight was the most recent purchase 3 years ago.

I've had mine since May of this year and only done 3500 miles with it, alas, mostly on long trips.[frame][/frame]

I bought mine way back when I was 16, so that makes it 23 years in my ownership.
