my new shell seems to be an early minor, should it have claphand wipers or wipers like my 66 minor, if so what do i need to use these type of wipers

Depends what year you mean by "early". Changeover came around 63/64

well its got holes for trafficators and the flat dash, not like the one in my 66, log book says this one is 1970 buts its not

Traficators finished in 61

oh, i thought it might be 62 the cars coming with all the tags so il have a look

Clap hand wiper holes are symetrical either side of the bonnet centre line, parallel wiper holes are offset towards the drivers side

Is it a one piece windscreen or 2 piece?
also you say a 'flat dash' - by that do you mean that the speedo is not in the centre of the dash? If so, then pre 1956

Unless you are very careful with this car - it's very obviously NOT what they say it is........ You could very well end up with a Q reg - and paying annual road tax on it. That is - IF it passes a VOSA inspection. You should get the car on the road - MOTd and taxed before making any major modifications to it. Only then - add modifications slowly!

it looks to have been re registared,all the paperwork matches up with the plates, and its a one piece windscreen and ye the speedo is in the middle and its got a pull start

Does it still have a chassis plate or number stamped on the body?

ma2s3 917234, theres the plate and its also stamped into the body

948 Series 3, early 1960, 1970 was probably a misprint

It has an H registration - it was registered (probably from abroad) in 1970.........
