Will it fit?

I am thinking that it would be cool to haul a British motorcycle in a Morris Minor van to British car shows. Before I pursue this idea I must ask, would a Triumph Bonneville, for instance, fit in the van?

Here's a thread showing van rear measurements so just compare them to the bike measurements to see if it would fit:

A single bike trailer is probably a better plan.
Even if the bike will physically fit in there, you are likely to do your self a mischief getting it in and out of such a restricted space.

You might even do the bike some mischief if you drop it whilst loading

Thanks for the information. Looks like a trailer will be required. Maybe I can make it a Morris based trailer out of a parts car. If I took the back half of a Morris car and pulled it backwards so the open end would accomodate the cycle ramp would the trailer wheels be too far forward from a weight and balance aspect? Perhaps I am trying too hard to be creative.

The nice thing with a bike trailer is that it easy to store when not in use.
You can stand it on end or hoist it up to the garage ceiling.
Anything bigger needs an area to store it and some kind of theft protection.

you can buy a fold up bike trailer

it dismantles to nothing not sure if its called a klippon ???but be very careful as single bike trailers bounce and slde about a lot . what about half a traveller

now that would look good

The trouble is that anything much more than a moped can quickly become a right handful unless you are sitting on it, or right next to it.
Half a Traveller would be about the same as a van unless you took the roof off.
An electric winch could take care of loading, but muscle power would still have to do the unloading.
A fold up bike trailer sounds like the ideal thing.
Aha! here they are;

Can't find a price, but I'm a bit tempted myself.
