Hi can I use standard black paint on the radiator and air filter case or do I need to use heat resistant paint

on the air filter you can use anything.. never tried a radiator but i would go with heat resistant paint as it would be a waste of time doing all the prep work only to find the paint flaking off after a few months

I don't normally rate Halford but they do a small tin of black heat resistant paint that I have had good results with, and brushes clean in white spirit.
