I personaly wouldn't go with coilovers but here is a link to some http://morrisminorspares.co.uk/shop/pro ... 7ab0768391 I don't think these have had very good reviews but I'm sure someone on here must have them.

These are the ones that I am going to go with http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/Shop/ViewP ... exID=17170 These can be adjusted via a knob to change the ride height. Also if you use your own coilovers with someone elses brackets you will void any warranty :o

Hello RRM,

"These can be adjusted via a knob to change the ride height."

No the knob you see is to adjust the level of damping, you need to adjust the spring platform to vary the ride height with coil overs or the usual way with the torsion bar on the kit you are looking at. Just in case you are disappointed if you buy them and they don't do what you expect?

The knob certainly doesn't alter the ride height! :-? Don't waste money on any bolt-on damper conversion - just use more viscous oil in the existing dampers!

 My mistake I was thinking of one kit whilst writing about another  . I realise that the knob on the side adjusts the damping of these shocks i.e. making them softer or harder. BM, can I ask why you don't rate these 'bolt on' damper conversions? I have in the past used a more viscous oil in the dampers buy having been in a car with a similar bolt on conversion to the ones above, the difference is really noticable.

Depends which oil you put in the lever dampers! Some of the add-on damper kits are poorly engineered - and come with doubtful dampers. But I'm also sure there are good/well engineered kits out there - but they are not of the 'bolt-on' variety. Try SAE40 oil (that's NOT 10W40!!) in the dampers - flush it through a couple of times - it works well for a road car - but of course for track work - full well engineered suspension mods are the way to go.
