Meet Humphrey !

Hi everyone - Humphrey and I have just joined the club and would like to say "Howdy" to you all.
I've had Humph for about 18 months, he is my only car and we do about 250 miles a week on school runs ect.
He was this gorgeous colour when we bought him, the closest match we could find to touch him up was Focus own brand Dutch Gold No. 2 !
My kids were horrified when I bought him ( 9 and 11) and I still have to drop the oldest one off around the back of the school!! Does anyone else recognise this problem? lol
Saying that though, their friends think he's super cool and he has a little fan club at the local primary school where he is lovingly called "Brum" !
Best car I have every driven, every trip is a little adventure -
Humph is a traveller and his girlfriend in the pic is Sally

Best wishes

Hi Donna.

Welcome to the forum. Have fun here!

Humph is certainly not a standard colour, no idea what it is though

How times have changed. I was proud to drive to skool in my Minor - and park it right out front for all to see........ Until the Headie made me move it - so the teechers could park there! :-? And he made it very clear that there was no appeal against this ruling..... :o

Well I have a traveller called Humphrey too!
He was actyually named by my kids (5 and 3, because he has 3 humps), and they adore him and are very keen to go everywhere they can in him. I'm sure that might change when they're a bit older though! As you can see from my sig he is also an unusual colour (Limeflower Green), so perhaps all colourful travellers are called Humphrey?

Wow that's some colour, bet you get noticed! My 4 year old nieces think my Minor has eyes and they call it Noddy's car!

Welcome Humphreysmum, colour reminds me of the yellow Post Office Telephone Morris vans I drove in the 70's!
