they might be abit big. 5inch would be adequate for moggy's owing to their size. any large sizer suits larger cars like wolseleys.

however, the light emitted from them would be truly fantastic

My spots are wired through the dip switch and give extra coverage on unlit roads

Rest them on the bumper and take a photo - It would be easier for us to envisage - Mine are about 5" across I think.....

No - if you need extra lights - they may as well be worth having![frame]Image[/frame]
Note these were mounted on a spare front bumper 'iron' - which was removed and a normal bumper fitted for daily use.

Hello Andrew,

if you were planning to drill the bumper valance, then I suggest that will be too flimsy and allow the lamps to vibrate. Fitted with a sturdy bracket should be fine, and wired through the dip switch preferably with a relay to avoid overloading the dip switch and main light switch.

Oh yes - certainly the 'valance' is useless - sturdy brackets to the bumper iron are essential to avoid very irritating 'flickering' of the beams.

If you are going to drill through the chrome then make sure you put some paint on the bare metal or water will get under the chrome and destroy it in short order.

Sorry to disagree but i have mine mounted on the bumper valance and they don't wobble around when actually driving, well no more than the rest of a minor does..I admit i only have them there because it was already drilled, and replaced a badge bar.

Many valances are thin fibreglass these days.........and I assume you weren't pounding down a white road with sparks flying from the sumpguard! Also your lights look quite small.........
