Ever hear of a 'nuts, bolts, screws, kit?

Post by Patroske »

greetings, I live in the Pacific N/W of the USA. In the process of restoring a 1960 MM 2dr Saloon. I bought it as an already stripped bare bones body and lots of parts in boxes and plastic bags. Most of the fasteners are in bad to very bad condition.
I have a complete 1959 MM LCV Van to use as a guide for reassembly.
What I need is a listing of or better yet a complete kit of all the various fasteners. Any ideas???

Most of the nuts and bolts on the body are 1/4, 5/16 or 3/8 BSF.

You will especially need a lot of the 5/16 BSF bolts and some nuts as well to repair the captive nuts.

You can get these from http://www.namrick.co.uk Also, ESM and Bull Motif sell the right size nuts bolts and screws. Contact these guys.

Not sure about the feasibillity of postage of lots of nuts and bolts to the USA though!

Contact Randolph WIlliams (The Dolpn) he seems to be the hub of all things Minor in the USA he should know where to get BSF fixings from in the States! http://www.morrisandthedolphn.com/index.htm

It is a good idea, though, some enterprising soul should do a set of fixings for the Minor.
Cheers John - all comments IMHO
