I had a friend who used to climb to the top of "certain very tall radio masts" in a certain part of the country for his hobby.
He was a basejumper, used to climb to the top with a mate and they would jump "track away" then open their chute.

Good God!! You don't want to be suffering from cramp when climbing that!!! Or dropping any tools!
