steering wheel wobble

when i get up to 50 mph or higher i can feel the wheels wobble a bit throught the steering wheel, it only just started it recently, what could cause this

Tie bar bushes or wheel imbalance or something loose...... check as a matter of urgency !!

If it's only started recently, I'd go along with the theory of a balance weight falling off.

just checked and weights are still there and the bush's are fine, but on the passangers side it seems the hub wobbles so i may just need to tigten the hub nut

The hub should not on any account wobble and the nut should have a split pin to prevent it coming loose added to the fact that the direction of rotation of the wheel should tighten the nut. You should have an anticlockwise (left hand) thread on the passenger side.
Check the top swivel pin bushes for movement when turning the steering.

right i will do 2moro when its light, the bushs were replaced early this year for poly

Check the tyres as well for a bulge, but I agree about the weight having dropped off.

the tyres are a bit knackerd, they have had a bit of tread cut off them from the wings and they hav a couple of flat spots from were people think looks its a minor ill pull out :evil: it has atcherly started after the last time sum1 pulled out, it left quiet a skid mark

Hmmmm flat spots - Better dive in for a pit stop and new tyres then :roll: :lol:

i got the 2 spares that came off the back of the car luckyly, ill try with these and get back to you all :D
