Temp gauge

Post by DaisyMayFozz »

hi again,
as you may know we have had problems with our temp gauge reading hot nearly all the time. we were told by a nice guy at ESM that it should be wired through the voltage stabliser behind the speedo. ours isn't. It has 3 wires, one for the backlight, one which goes to the sender and another which goes into the fuse box. The one that goes into the fusebox is shown on the pictures below.(sorry about poor quality)[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame] am I right in thinking that i can just pull this wire out and put it onto a spare connector on the voltage stabilser?
thanks,
chris

Yes - provided it's the regulated voltage (~10 volts) connection. Which in the diagram below - is the LIGHT GREEN wire going to the fuel gauge - just join on to that one either at the stabiliser or at the fuel gauge
