Morris Minor Owners Club

I have just been offered a 1955 split screen which the owner was going to make into a covertable. The car comes with a new coversion kit. How difficult would this job? Has anyone done this sort of conversion?

Our car has been converted , its previous owner had done the cutting, we bought it pre painting and finishing. Before you cut the roof off sill and other stenghteners need welded in , do it after and you risk the car sagging.
