traveller rear door hinges

I have just got round to fitting new rear doors on a traveller but the difficulty I have is that the hinges were removed by a previous owner. I can tell which are LH and RH but how can you tell the difference between top and bottom?
Thanks
John

There are some casting numbers on the back. Unfortunately I don't have any labelled up to look at at present. A good picture of a finished car will also show the slightly different appearance, if anyone can oblige....

This problem was discussed in a previous post. If you search through there are some photos of back door hinges

I asked a supplier this question recently, they were of the opinion that the casting marks don't actually mark L & R, even though some will have an L stamped on them somewhere. They thought that it doesn't matter really, which I am inclined to believe, since there is so much adjustment anyway.

I had the hinges apart on my traveller recently to spray them & managed to mix them up thoroughly-still got the doors back on ok.

It very much DOES matter how they are refitted!
