i am the owner of green 2 door salon reg vyr 616 ,a 1969 very standard 2 door moggie.
i am hoping to find some history about it, if you know of some details for my records would you please send them along.

You could always download a V888 form from the DVLA website and request information about previous owners, it costs £5 I think.

That's an interesting reg for a 69 car is it the original number.

Probably not original! The VYR series was issued towards the end of 1958.

That does not say that the registration was not transfered from a previous vehicle, only the date that it was issued to the Minor. The original owner may have transfered the registration from one car to the next.

Oh yes - it must be a 'private reg' of some sort.
