Hi all,

can anyone suggest what to use to replace the cardboard that is glued onto the chassis leg and firewall to seal off the holes for LHD clutch pedal and LHD master cylinder.

cheers
Moray

you could use rubber grommets for the chassis leg, as for the bulkhead, you could tack weld a plate over that hole or if the cardboard is in good condition, leave it

Re use the existing if you still have them or cut a steel square and bed it in bitumen or seam sealer

Bit of canvas deckchair fabric smothered with black silicone and laid on a piece of waxed glass. Comes out with a smooth finish on one side and a lightly textured finish on the other. Makes good baffle material for an aeroplane engine and it is water and fire-proof. Any good?
