rolling radius

Now, I tried the search function but didn't find what I was looking for.

What is the rolling radius of a 5.20/14 on a Minor 3.5 inch rim against, say, a 165/80/14? Has anyone got a website link for a tyre size converter that understands crossply sizes?

Thanks

You may find something on here, don't know if their converter does crossplies though

Thanks. I've tried that one before but there isn't info on 5.20x14 so I have no starting figure. Using the "sitting 2 wheels next to each other" scientific method I have decided that the 165/80/14s on the 5J rims are about 12mm taller in diameter. I'd like to find a suitable tyre with about 8% more truns per mile to suit the car than the 5.20s

I believe that the aspect ratio for cross plys is 88% compared to 80% for a normal profile radial, ie 145 or 155 x 14.
A 175/80 x 13 has a very similar rolling radius to a 155/80 x 14.

The bit I need is the rolling radius for 5.20x14 so that I have a start figure for comparison or even the tyre size known to have the same figure but in a radial size.

Has anyone got such a piece of info?

Rob I would think that these people should be able to answer your query, even if it means physically measuring a tyre for you.
