But don't pay that price! They are not 'hard to find' as that seller would have you believe! If your 1275 engine is standard - and you don't plan to 'race' it - it will run fine on a 1.5" carb - HS4 or HIF38.

Absolutely - but that one has ended up at a price far beyond what I would pay - but then - I'm a Scotsman! Last one I bought cost me £5 at an autojumble...... The older HS6 carb is the same size - and every bit as good performance wise - and twin sets of these often sell very cheaply on ebay.
