Anyone want to swap?

Post by Moggy259 »

I have a 1970 Traveller but i have now decided i would prefer a saloon. My Traveller is solid with little welding required due to being stored in a barn for many years, the majority of rust is on the wings. The car does have surface rust but no rot except on wings. The woodwork in my opinion is beyond repair. The engine runs just about and seems to be in good working order altough cannot drive due to seized clutch. Would anyone be interested in a swap?

These are the only pictures i have at the moment. As these pictures show most of the rust is on the lower doors and wings (both wings will require replacing) also the dorrs have not dropped at all and open and close perfectly.

A few more photos would be good; the sills, under the bonnet, inner wheel arches, floors and boot floor. Presumably you are looking to swap for a saloon in similar condition?

From what i can remember under the bonnet is good and so is the boot but i havn't checked the sills. But the floor inside the car is solid with no rot but it does have surface rust. I would consider any saloon providing the shell is in one piece :D
