After many long weeks in the garage, being gradually sorted in "off moments" by my mechanic, Gary - not that I'm complaining, I told him it wasn't to take priority over other work - he texted me tonight to say that Betsy Blue flew through her MOT today, with only one advisory: and that was for a windscreen wiper blade because it left a streak on the window (he's ordered new blades).

So... she can come off SORN now! Hoorah! And I can test out those amazing 9" drum brakes! Hooray!

But does anyone know how easy it is to get off SORN?! Does one just apply at a Post Office for a Tax Disc?

Yes, that's exactly what you do. The SORN is cancelled as soon as you get your tax disc. Congrats on getting your Minor back on the road!
