fiat head bolt

Right, as seems to be the way with my flipping car, it just doesn't want me to get rid of it. After getting it through the MOT, driving it the last couple of days with no worries, i lent it to my friend, and the head gasket has gone! well i say head gasket...one of my head bolts has sheared off. I assume that this is an error of mine when fitting the head, must've overtightened it and weakened it. rubbish. so it's overheated, thrown brown water all over the engine bay and destroyed me emotionally. great.
So, i need a head bolt for an 1800 Fiat twin cam, i assume they are the same throughout the range though. Anybody know where i can get one? preferably cheap, second hand is fine.
I was so looking forward to driving it for the next 10 days until the insurance runs out, but looks like that idea has gone.
any help appreciated.

If this has happened to one bolt - suspect the others to be in similar condition. Renew them all is my advice. And torque them up correctly! Some engines with 'bolts' - the bolts are one-trip only , and should be renewed every time the head is off.

It doesn't say in the trusty(!!) haynes that they need to be replaced.
If my lovely Scottish supplier has a couple spare then i would love them!!

Just to say, once again, the club has come up trumps. I have 2 bolts on their way to me a little over 12 hours after a request.
Very much appreciated.

callyspoy,
appreciate that this is a bit late and you have already sourced some headbolts but if you prefer I can let you have 6 Guy Croft head bolts, sorry I don't have a full set. The original bolts do suffer with age and can, as you discovered, break. The recommendation is that they should only be used 3 times, using them more is a personal choice. The GC bolts have a recommended 4 use cycle and I have used them twice.
If you are interested let me know.
Regards,
Wal

B M C is correct ,if one has broken the rest are likely to be over stressed
as well. Each time the bolts are tightened they stretch a little.Do you know how many
times the head has been tightened ?and was it torqued correctly?
Anyway best of british luck . Kenny in the colonies.
