Hi all
My father's first car was a Morris Minor 1000 with the registration 950 MPH. A long shot, but anybody know anything about this car?

No record of it on the DVLA system, which means it's probably been off the road for many years. The plate hasn't been transferred as far as I can tell. I'm afraid it's probably gone to meet Mr Issigonis, unless it's been stored away somewhere. When was it last on the road?

Many thanks - better start reading up as my dad has mentioned that he would love to own a Morris 1000 again. Sounds like a good father / son project. However, as a complete novice, one has a lot to learn. And tips?

This website is an excellent starting point. Plenty of friendly and helpful advice here. Also, there's a thread regarding Minor related books here;
