Quarter light catch

The catch is missing from the driver's Q/light.
Looking at the job, it APPEARS that the catch is attaches by a screw which goes through the plate on which it swivels & the screw has broken off flush with the plate & is still in situ
To replace it, I am assuming that I could remove the glass, drill out the broken screw.

Am I right or talking rubbish?

Can the catches be bought on their own or will I need a whole quarterlight?

thanks,
Chris

I replaced one of mine which had broken by replacing the original "rivet" with a stainless bolt (with a similar type of head) and then drilled a hole through the bolt from the reverse side so I could pein over the end of the bolt to reform the same kind of "rivet" fixing.

Hi from Australia

I purchased two new latches with rivets from the Morris Minor Centre here in Parramatta, Sydney. New south Wales, Australia.
Each unit cost $30 which included a brand new rivet. Fitted perfectly and would highly recommend them. :D :D :D
