BTW: I am amazed at the restraint shown by the moderators. You Brits are nice!

As you should have noticed Maurice is from the other side of the pond and if you care to look he has a photo of him with his saloon under me and my car.
I dont need a second profile as I have nothing to hide, and I use my real name and location and as I have said many times before I have no hidden agenda either.
There are many posters that don't consider us their emeny.

'didn't think you would.
My point: I have been on a number of forums form Automobile Tech forums, antique machine and woodworking machine forums, electric boat and other forums. MOST moderators will not put up with what some MMOC forum members get away with! It's THEIR Forum, respect them for what they do for US!

You're right Maurice, this is a good forum. It isn't the only good one, but that's another thread.

But it's not the Mods forum, it's ours, or at the very least it belongs to the fully paid up members of the MMOC - I'm not aware that the MMOC funds it other than from subscriptions. The mods are also members so it's theirs too, it's just not more theirs.
So this is a good forum - it may even be a great one - but perhaps, just perhaps, it's not as good today as it was a few months ago.

I think what Maurice meant was that you seem to overlook that we are club members as well just the same as yourselves.
Only difference is that we try to let the board run smoothly as possible, so that members can gain knowlege and get advice about problems, or just talk about their cars as I have said before there is no hidden agenda inspite of what some memebrs like to think.

I'm not sure that was how his comment came over, though, if that was how it was meant. His post pointed up a distinction between "US" (forum users?) and "THEM" (mods).

Like many people here I've done a fair bit of moderating myself, and in my experience it's too demanding a job to make it worth sparing any time or energy to indulge in hidden agendas
