I need to remove my Speedo along with the metal plate and switches but do not know how.
Also need to get the drivers glove box out but can't see how it is going to fit through the hole.

Help appreciated please.
I need to get inside all this to a) replace the washer pipe and b) connect my stereo up.

Rob, look inside the glovebox liners, top corners that face the speedo and you will see some round holes. Put a long posidrive screwdriver in the holes and feel for a screw head. Undo the screws only about 2 or 3 turns, otherwise you will loose the screws and after you have slackened off both sides the speedo will pull out. To get drivers side liner out you need to remove the steering wheel first then find the two screws under the dash holding the trim / apperture plate to the dash. Remove these and the trim panel and you will find small screws all around the edge of the liner. With these removed you can wriggle the liner out of the dash. No need to remove any switches or other trim panels to do the work you need to do.....

Cheers and don't ya just hate it when time gets the better of you :o
everything out only for it to be to dark to work so back together and garaged, will look at tomorrow now :)

Speedo was tight on removal and there was only 1 screw, managed to remove the drivers glovebox liner and and trim arpeture without removing steering whcih was a bonus.

Aye you can do it with the wheel fitted but I couldn't describe the contorted shapes you had to get into to remove it this way
