that I didn't start the latest JLH thread - I just posted in to it, but since the original post seems to have disappeared it looks like I started the thread, which I didn't.

I'm not happy about the JLH situation but I wasn't seeking to add threads on the subject.

Quite a few of us are unhappy about it! But for a thread starter to disappear like that - and no explanation offered (perhaps it was - to the starter?) does seem a bit odd! Strange days........

I thought you had started the thread as yours showed as the first post so that is what it looked like. Why the first post wasn't edited instead I don't know.
What is going on here. Open forum, secret members area? posts deleted with no explanation?
Are we heading for a MMOC members only site?

There's no secret area as far as I know - just a "member's area" where Club business can be discussed by members. Just log into it using your membership no and the pasword from Minor Matters A place where we can discuss the security of our cars for one thing, without anyone using the open forum being able to view can't be bad can it?

I can't find any links into the Members Area. Could someone tell me where it is please?

On the home page 4th menu down, click on the membership details and away you go.

Hi Simon I see your point about the other posting would you like me to remove it completely as there is just you post there.

And what happened to the original post in that thread?

The post was deleted and the poster was informed of the reasons for this.

I think I would prefer it if the original post was reinstated with the content removed, but it's all a bit academic. It's fast becoming depressing to visit this forum.

Am I looking at the right area? I click 'Membership and get to a section saying 'About the Club' with 4 topics but no way to add a topic or log in using the id and password from Minor Matters. Thanks

Right in the members area toolbar in blue is the area to click on and enter your details, as below.
