Heading off on the 200-mile trip from West Sussex to Norfolk today. Wish me well - I have absolute faith!
Anything Minor related going on in that neck of the woods to anyone's knowledge over the next week?

Shame you just missed the transport festival at the North norfolk railway (yesterday), we were there (North norfolk morrris minors). There is a nice collection of old vehicles at Caister Castle near Great Yarmouth if you are out that way. Where are you going in Norfolk out of intrest.

Journey went fine with no problems fortunately!
I'm staying with family in North Walsham - been out exploring the beautiful countryside today!

If that's your Minor in your signature I think I might have passed you on the A11 yesterday at about 1.15pm! I was driving a van going in the opposite direction just past Attleborough, and I had only just seen a black 2-door saloon 2 minutes before.

Ha, quite possibly, but tbh I can't remember.
What's up with the farmer who so kindly arranged for his sprinkler to overspray onto the road, between Mudesley and Cromer? I got drenched, whilst in a panic to do up the passenger window

! Talk about Norfolk yokels

!

That's NORTH Norfolk for you!

Here in south Norfolk we're a touch more sophisticated. There's a lot more holiday traffic in north Norfolk this time of year, especially on the coastal road, and I think the farmers resent that.

Well how amazing, I live in North Walsham on the Norwich road.
There is now a large Iveco van and a Morris minor pickup in driveway but you get the idea, its nearly opposite the water towers.

Hey Nigel, I'll look out for your Minor next time I go that way! If you see a grey 4-door saloon go past you'll know it's me.

Didn't get this before I returned home, although I'll keep an eye out next time I come up! Where have all the lovely little petrol stations disappeared to? I always liked the Black Cat garage - although I know that's been gone for years.
I think the whole spirit of the area is being changed against people's will - e.g. that horrible new Tesco at Stalham. I hope residents oppose the alleged proposition to build another Tesco at Sheringham!
BTW - I was staying just off Manor Road (Manor Court).
