Changes to the Forum

Reading the large number of posts on the subjest it would appear that many users of this forum would like to see changes to the T&Cs. I personally would like to see less draconian moderation with more freedom for the trade professionals to discuss their services. Additionally I would like to be able to post serious problems I may have had with individual suppliers. I would ask that the moderators constructivley suggest how these changes could be brought about and not attempt to justify why they will not allowed
Anyone agree?

I'm not so sure it's the T&C that are at fault; rather the way they are interpreted. As I keep saying, ad nauseum, "Rules exist for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men".
Since you mention the issue, there is a thread concerning a new club on the "Other site" -
http://www.morrisowners.co.uk/. It (Plus several others) has grown out of this issue of what might be called "Jobsworth" moderation. I am sure that MMOC HQ will be aware of it and it remains to be seen how they react to it.

This is Club business and is already being discussed in the members area. Kevin has asked for members to identify which specific T&C they have a problem with and to suggest an alternative. Under the circumstances there is no need for a duplicate thread so I'll lock this one and suggestions can continue to be posted in the members area in the "Changes to the T&C's" thread in the 'general' forum.
