boot lid designs

Hi, I have a 1968 with a fibre glass bootlid and have a spare bootlid but the seller said he thought it was an early model. I t looks the same to me . How can I tell? thanks

I think the main difference in the badging fitted - different holes

Also with the way it which it is supported when open. Early cars had a lever you had to move manually to hold the boot open, from Oct 64 they changed to a telescopic arm which was "automatic" :lol:
