Air conditioning in a van?

Hi there. I have finally persuaded my Mum to get a moggy van for her business. She is a professional cake & sugarcraft maker (weddings, birthdays etc.). We have found a couple of possibles but it struck her that the current delivery vehicles (Vectra and Civic) both have air con and she would need that for the warm days.
I want to ask does anyone know where and roughly how much it would be to get a unit fitted?
I saw an article in MM about the chiller unit in a butchers van but it is just the cool atmosphere we'd need, not chilled.
Thanks in advance
Steve

It should be possible using a small AC unit, such as the ones fitted to smaller Japanese cars. I think the Nissan Figaro (Micra-based thingy) had AC, which could provide a donor.
However, the standard A-series would probably struggle to run a compressor as well; the 1275 would be a useful upgrade. I bet JLH would be able to fabricate something.

There was a company called Vintage Air over in the states that do custom AirCon units, I'm sure there are other places in the UK

Stephen it could be contacting the sites in Aussie and New Zealand as I am sure its been done over there quite a few times, so they should be able to give some good pointers as well.
