It's so nice to see so many Series MM's in the land they were made, but a rarity.

I bought my MM Tourer here in OZ about 15 years ago, and everybody
tried to talk me out of it. They are too slow, they are hard to get parts for, Bla, Bla, Bla.

I was the only one in our club with one back then, now I can count at least 8 in our club
that has a membership of about 100. So that is a really good percentage.

Low Lights are now being appreciated for what they are, not being berated for what they are not!

More strength to the Series MM! The purist form of MORRIS MINOR!

Apart from the black cars, were the one piece cheesegrater grills on highlights always painted bodycolour?

Hi dp,

I have been lead to believe that the later MM cars painted Black had their cheesgrater grilles painted Clarendon Grey and the Clarendon Grey car's grilles were painted Birch Grey.

Empire Green car's grilles were body colour. Not sure about Thames Blue and Mist Green.

Someone will be along shortly to confirm or otherwise I am sure.

Regards Ian

There were at least 3 Alta engine MMs there, which kept Graham busy
