Village Fete and Car show

Post by RogerRust »

We had a small fete today in our tiny village and between us we found 18 classic cars.

1930 Vauxhall T Type[frame]Image[/frame]

1929 Austin 7[frame]Image[/frame]

1925 Austin 12[frame]Image[/frame]

A Morris Minor[frame]Image[/frame]

1975 S100 Skoda[frame]Image[/frame]

1950 MKVI Bentley Drophead (With powered hood and windows)[frame]Image[/frame]

1940 Vauxhall LM 14-40[frame]Image[/frame]

1966 Triumph Herald[frame]Image[/frame]

1975 Triumph Spitfire 1500[frame]Image[/frame]

1920s Lanchester 30 HP Straight 8[frame]Image[/frame]

1963 MKII Jag[frame]Image[/frame]

1996 Mini with 4000 miles on the clock[frame]Image[/frame]

1932 Alvis 12/50 Ducks Back[frame]Image[/frame]

and from the rear[frame]Image[/frame]

A Merc[frame]Image[/frame]

Somebody's MGB GT[frame]Image[/frame]

1960 Austin Healey 3000[frame]Image[/frame]

1956 Aston Martin DB2[frame]Image[/frame]

And last but not least

a 1958 Vauxhall Cresta that had been on the Monte Carlo Rally[frame]Image[/frame]

Not bad for a village with about only 150 houses.

Nice cars, apart from the 1930 Vauxhall T Type.
That colour scheme make it look like a fibreglass replica :( .

I'll send you an invite next year, I think we could have squeezed two or three more on the playground! :D

I did offer to swap the MG for the Aston Martin, - just to hear it rev was bliss!
