Having dismantled my front suspension and now rebuilding,I noticed in the manual that the large washer shown with eye b olt is called "washer- eyebolt adjusting" no 46 in suspension key ,My memory being very bad thought the washer went on the back of the bolt underneath the nut and spring washer when i dismantled it,How would that make it "adjusting " ? Or does it go underneath tee piece at front ? I'me confused and prob stupid or both ! Can some one explaine or tell me at least where it goes as i dont want to upset the geometry. regsrds old nick

I'm pretty certain your adjusting washer should go on the "eye" side, this pushes the bottom of your wheel out a tad to reduce the negative camber. Make sure the washer is the same thickness as the one the other side when you fit it. You should have one on the back too, this will spread the tightening load on the chassis leg when tightening the nut.

Seconded, the adjusting washer goes on the bolt side, not the nut side.
I think there should be a spring washer on the nut side.

May need more than 1 'washer' to get it right - I used a steel plate 3/8" thick... Ideally you should measure the camber (with a spirit level on flat ground) and at least set both sides to be the SAME, and at whatever angle you choose. The limit is - the nut at the back must go on the bolt full thread. After any work like this - check/reset the tracking.
