Disc and drum hubs

Hi there,
I've managed to get some ford disc brakes (I think they were from Bull Motif) but I was wondering if they fit right onto standard Minor hubs or if they are supplied with a modified hub?
I also need some new hoses for them and wonder if anyone knows the thread pattern, length or any other useful info for these as BM don't seem to have hoses for them available individually, so I want to see if I can get some ebay or locally.
Thanks in advance
George

Not an expert on (or in favour of

) disc brakes for the Minor........ Ford calipers will be m10 x 1 thread for brake connection. I thought they came with special hubs though - are these not the ones with alloy hubs that have been known (!

) to give problems with bearings coming loose ?? Best ask Jono at JLH.
http://www.jlhmorrisminors.co.uk/ He knows ALL about disc brakes. And - you do know about having to take the little top-hat seal out of the master cylinder - and the likely need for a servo - and the remote mounted fluid reservoir.......
There is a MUCH easier way to get excellent brakes.........

haha indeed, but it appears that the prices of Wolseley 9" drums have started to exceed those of second hand discs, IF they ever come up for sale!
They may well come with special hubs which is why I wanted to check, maybe I'll drop Jonathon an email or give BM a call.
Luckily got a remote fluid reservoir already, and not too phased by removing the seal in the m/c, may fit new seals while in there as its a chance to learn about a new bit of a car

Thanks for the info on the thread, should be able to sort something out on ebay with that
Anyone else know anything about these hubs?

There's a very good reason why Wolseley 9" drum brakes are fetching more than second-hand discs...........
