wheel studs

well got my new wheels studs and i am going to changed drums and shoes,(is this an easy job), how do i change the studs do i need to take half shaft out or just knock them back

Why changing studs ? Yes - just bang them out - but pull the new ones carefully in with a pile of oiled washers - and a reversed wheel nut.

snapped one so i thought id change the rest :D , just changed the snapped one for the timebeing
