In the next couple of weeks I am going to be starting a search for a Morris Minor.
Budget is upto £900

What key ares of the body should I be checking for rust please. :o

And any other key things to check, wouldn't want to buy a lemon as the car's for a freind who is still looking for my left handed hammer I left round there a few months ago.

Hi, I was in the same situation as you a few months ago and posted a messgae, see 'Beginners Help'. Had loads of useful info from members which I was most grateful for. There's also a good article on buying a moggy in the technical tips section. You may also be able to enlist the help of a local member to have a look over the car with you. I luckily got that help from Bernie, who made my purchase of the car less fraught and helped with the decision. I'm now the proud owner of a 1956, split screen, 4dr, clarendon grey, without a name as yet but 'scottie' is becoming a favorite as it was first registered in Dundee reg PSP 420.

Good luck with your search.

Dundee reg numbers were TS and YJ - Perth was SP.
