hub caps

how does one prevent hub caps coming off voluntarily?
having had this problem with many wolseleys and primrose, i would like to keep 4 caps on for a while

I must confess, i have found the best way to keep the hub caps on is to stay away from the kerbs.

i discovered that one as well, but i have had a few instances, particularly on main roads where i have had a hub cap over take me,

Never had this issue, but would it be possible to just curl over the edges slightly more, so they are a tighter fit on the wheel?

I have found that hub caps can vary in size a little, pattern sizes and all that. I have had hubcaps that have been almost impossible to get on and others that have flopped about. A good a method as any for loose hubcaps is to tap the edges of the rim so that they are slightly trianglar in shape then fit the hubcap and twist it on tight
